Security Architecture

Technical overview of Kwikzo's zero-knowledge, client-side PDF execution engine.

Client-Side Wasm

PDF bytes are parsed and manipulated in isolated browser memory threads.

Zero Server Ingestion

Payloads never cross network boundaries. Zero remote transmission.

Instant Memory Purge

Closing the tab immediately frees all temporary binary buffers from RAM.

1. Threat Model & Data Boundary

Traditional PDF converters upload your confidential bank statements, tax IDs, and medical files to remote cloud buckets (AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage), where they are susceptible to data leaks and third-party scraping.

Kwikzo was built from the ground up to eliminate this attack surface. PDF manipulation (merging, splitting, rotation, watermarking) is performed directly via JavaScript / WebAssembly within your browser's sandbox.

2. Cryptographic and Integrity Controls

All static assets are delivered via encrypted TLS 1.3 endpoints with strict HTTP Content-Security-Policies (CSP) and subresource integrity checks to prevent unauthorized script injections.
